I am a multidisciplinary designer and craftsperson working in fields such as furniture, decorative objects and jewellery. My creative practice is driven by curiosity, and experimentation with materials. I currently work with enamel, wood, jewellery and metal. I learn quickly — nothing charges me more than mastering something new, which is why the Zen-Buddhist idea of a beginner’s mind feels so close to me.
My experience is quite varied, ranging from photography and ceramics to furniture-making. Thanks to this, I move easily from one discipline to another and combine techniques that are not always used together. I am interested in what one field can bring to another.
I am particularly interested in traditional craft techniques and what can happen when they are taken beyond their usual context.
